Hit Like A Girl is an annual international contest for female drummers.

Over the years the contest has attracted thousands of contestants from dozens of countries. It has generated fans all around the world and has raised the visibility of female drummers and percussionists.

There are 4 age groups: Under 13, 13 to 17, 18 to 39 and 40-Plus.

Competitors can either enter a solo, original composition or live performance.

Bunnie (15) entered a 3 minute live solo piece in the 13 to 17 age category where she made it through hundreds of entries to place in the top 3 of the UK section. These final 3 performances were then judged by a panel of top industry female drummers and Bunnie was awarded first place.

As the winner of the UK under 18 section she was then invited to perform at the 2023 UK Drum show on the Hit Like A Girl stage, where she wowed the crowd with a new 3 minute drum solo and two songs!
