Mike Dolbear - Lesson 4

Combining 16th and 32nd notes

In this lesson I'll show you how to use groups of four 1/16th notes & double up the first note into two 1/32nd notes.

This particular fill-in will consist of three groups of four 1/16th notes (with the first note doubled into two 1/32nd notes), which will take up 3 beats, & on beat 4 I'll play two 1/16s & an 1/8th.

The sticking for this is - (reverse sticking if you're left handed):

Ok, if you watch the attached video you will see I've played the fill-in slowly at first and then up to speed with a groove.
